TEMPLE (KCEN) - Police say a man who received treatment at Scott and White Hospital for a gunshot wound could be a man involved in an attempted home burglary. The attempted burglary occurred Thursday just before noon in the 3900 block of Lower Troy Road. The Humboldt County Sheriff's Office is seeking two unidentified male suspects after an Orick resident reported using a handgun to avert an attempted home invasion robbery early Sunday morning. The sheriff's office was notified at approximately 7 a.m. on Sunday that an attempted home invasion robbery allegedly had just occurred on the 100 block of Robinson Road in Orick. BARRY COUNTY, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) – A Barry County homeowner says he took matters into his own hands Monday morning and shot a man he claims was trying to break into his home. A Johnstown man was shot and wounded when a Penn Run area property owner interrupted him in the course of a burglary early Wednesday, authorities said. The man then fled to Armstrong County, where he reportedly burglarized at least one home and was captured by state police outside a busy convenience store. Clinton Edwards, 27, was held at the Armstrong County Jail with bond set at $25,000 on charges filed by state police at Kittanning. HUFFMAN, Texas – People who live in a Huffman neighborhood weren’t surprised when Bradley and Dennis Turner made headlines this week. They say their Lake Houston-area neighborhood was peaceful until four years ago when the Turner family moved in.
